I am from the sappy maple trees in my backyard

and pretty blue vast oceans, the good smelling lilacs that grow in the pasture and grazing horses

I am from trips to other states with my family and

REalistic Fiction and Character Development

My name is Izzie. When I was three years old, I was in a horse show. My cousin Mia also was in the horse show with me when she was 9 years old. It was at the Topsham Fair Mall. It was so cool for my grandmother to make a book about the horse show for my Mom for her birthday. I got a red ribbon when I won. I don't have it anymore, I don't think, anyway. Our horses names are Max and Julie. Max passed away a few years ago. It was sad. I didn't have a nice time that day because he was my horse. I won first place and Mia got second place. “Good for you,” Mia said. “I am sorry to be the winner,” said Izzie. “It's okay, I have to deal with it because of my brother. He won once,” said Mia.

Snowflakes

Snowflakes are formed by water vapor and dust particles in clouds. The temperature of the air is what helps form the snowflake. Their arms are like branches, if the air is warm the branches get thin, and if the air is cold the branches get wider. Each snowflake is never exactly like another, they are all different. Some snowflakes look like stars, but they are all six-sided. It can take hundreds of snow crystals to make one snowflake. The largest snowflake ever recorded was 15 inches. The larger the flakes are, the faster they fall. Large flakes form when the temperature is warmer, and when the temperature is very cold the flakes are small and dry.

Did you know that Rochester, New York gets almost 8 feet of snowfall each winter? And that in the mountains of Washington state 95 feet of snow fell in one winter!

My Mom

My mom’s name is Georgia Moore Cumuch. She has a short name like my name is. Iseabella Rae Datavs. My mom is 28 years old. She is very young. When she had me she was: 19 years old. When I was born, my dad was 23 years old! I love my mom so much she is nice. She moved to North Carolina but in twenty days or less my mom and my step dad are moving to Maine but there are 5 or 6 rooms. Downstairs rooms: Bella Iseabella’s room, Mike’s room, T.V. room. Upstairs rooms: Georgia and Matthew’s room, living room, kitchen, art studio room. My room is big and it has a loft too. When my mom moved away to North Carolina more than a year ago, I was really sad. When I found out that my mom was moving back to Maine I was so excited! I am so excited because I will get to see her more often. My mom flew back to North Carolina today. She has to go back to get her belongings but she will return.

My Dog

I got a dog. She is brown, white, and black. I was happy. I got food for her with a dish. We got puppy bites. I named her Dylan Lady Grace, but we call her Gracie. I feed her and give her water every day. I got her when she was nine weeks old. She cost $600. We got her at a lady's house who breeds dogs. It was in the mountains in Maine. I bought some toys for her too. I love her, but I wish she was white. One time Gracie got stuck on our porch and she got scratched by a piece of wood. It made me cry. Gracie has a brother named Sidney Mikwen. Sid lives at my grandparent’s house. Gracie misses Sid, and sometimes she whines for him. I have four dogs altogether but Gracie is my favorite.
